The Stowaway

February 23, 2013

Hi, my name is Mark, and I’m a member of the acting team for The Street life foundation.
This is my second show I have had the privilege to perform in for Caroline and her fantastic foundation. So , a bit about me ,I have been acting for quite a while, over 10 year's now in fact, and recently have been scouted by YEP( young everyman playhouse) and I have also took part in many other shows and a number of other productions since I was 6. The Stowaway rehearsals were intense, but I have loved every minute of it, since October we have rehearsed every Sunday at the international slavery museum and now, 3months on, have a finished show. Our performances will be on Monday 11th and Tuesday 19th of February 2013.Unlike our previous show, we have a lot of group scripted work , which was a challenge for some of us but throughout the creative process the group have grew stronger and stronger and now, eventually ,the show is complete. We are also in the process of being filmed so look out for the excited debut to come.
So please everyone come and see a show that has had a lot of time and effort put into it , and see how we have interpreted the William Windus Painting , ‘the slave boy
’

Thank you
Also, thanks to all the cast , Alex , Kirsty , Saph , Zach , Chin, Rebecca and Jodie

I was really really n...

My name is Faye, I'm 15 years old, and I'm a member of the Street Life Foundation, Writing All Wrongs. Over the short time I was in there, I gained numerous skills and learned so many lessons that will stay with me for life. On top of all this I have had so much fun and have travelled to places that I've never been before. Some of the skills I have gained include: confidence skills- I used to think that when I act I look silly but thanks to Caroline and Jeni, I now know that the more I put my...

Hi. My name is Rebecca I’ve just turned 14 years old, and I love music. Music is another world for me. It’s been an important thing in my life basically since I was born. My family is very musical, so I think that’s where I got my love for piano and singing. Other than singing I love acting. I love it because I can be whoever I want to be without anybody judging me because I’m playing a different character.  I’ve been acting since I was about ten or eleven. In the early days I perfo...
